The Multi-Engine Rating opens the door to airline, charter and corporate flying. Where you earn it matters. At Blitz Aviation you train in a Beechcraft Baron, a true high-performance multi-engine aircraft. You get the next level of aircraft speed, systems and workload, and that is the kind of experience airline and corporate operators want to see.
The Baron is a big resume builder. Flying a high-performance twin is respected across the industry and helps you stand out on a resume and in interviews. It shows you can handle a fast, complex aircraft, not just meet the minimums in a basic trainer. Our program combines expert instruction with hands-on, high-performance multi-engine experience, covering engine failures, emergency procedures and precise aircraft control, so you are ready for airline and corporate career preparation from day one.
What key steps will you take to complete the program?
-
Step 1
Complete Ground School and Flight Training
Our multi engine training program begins with a comprehensive ground school that covers the principles of multi engine flight, systems, and procedures. You'll learn about the unique characteristics of multi engine aircraft and the critical considerations for safe operation. With our expert instructors, you'll then take to the skies in our Beechcraft Baron, a high-performance twin, where you'll gain hands-on experience with twin engines, faster speeds and advanced systems that set your resume apart. Through a structured blend of flight training, you'll master multi engine operations and develop the skills needed to confidently pilot multi engine aircraft.
-
Step 2
Accumulate Flight Time
As you progress through the program, you'll accumulate the flight time required to demonstrate your proficiency in multi engine operations. With a focus on precision and safety, our instructors will guide you through a series of flight maneuvers and scenarios that will enhance your skills and build your confidence. From engine-out procedures to complex flight profiles, you'll develop the expertise needed to handle the challenges of multi engine flight.
-
Step 3
Pass the Practical Exam
To earn your multi engine rating, you'll need to pass a practical flight test with an FAA examiner. Our instructors will ensure that you are fully prepared for this evaluation, guiding you through the knowledge and flight skills required to succeed. With a focus on excellence and professionalism, we’ll help you achieve your goal of becoming a multi engine rated pilot.
